Thi®s-318 Paints&Inks Defoamer
Description:
In order to decrease the surface tension of water and brushing surface, we usually add certain amount of surfactant agents such as wetting agent, dispersants, leveling agent. And the existence of these surfactant agents accelerates the foams occurrence and existence. Besides, during construction processes, such operations as rolling, brushing, spraying can cause foam formation by changing the system’s free energy.The dosage of antifoam is low, but the efficiency is very obvious. For the foam generated by water-base and non-water-base coating, the antifoam containing mineral oil and alcohol will obtain much better performance because of interfacial tension reduction and good dispersion capacity.
Application
Thi®s-318 A(Inks Industry)
Mainly applied in inks industry.This-318A is a highly effective silicone defoamer and easy to disperse in water.It has no harmful effects to aquatic organisms.
Thi®s-318 B(Paints Industry)
A high performance antifoam at low concentration levels.Easily dispersed in oil and water.It is composed of organosilicon and polyether---modified polysiloxane.It is very effective in paints and coating Industry.
