Hydra II soil moisture conductivity temperature sensor

Stevens' Hydra probe is designed to measure soil moisture, soil temperature, and dielectric constant. The dielectric constant is directly related to the amount of salt in the soil moisture. Unlike other capacitive sensors, the Hydra probe can measure these three parameters at the same time. High frequency measurement indicates the characteristics of capacitance and soil conductivity, and the temperature of the soil is measured by thermistor while measuring the soil moisture and soil salinity.
The precise sensing area can strongly measure the soil moisture gradient, and the sensor's response time is very fast. When the internal conditions of the soil change, the sensor can quickly sense these changes and then measure them. Sensor measurement does not require on-site calibration, and can be directly connected to the data collector to achieve measurement.
