OPE WAX used for improving the wear resistance of the coating

It primarily serves as an internal and external lubricant and mold release agent, demonstrating outstanding performance in the extrusion and injection molding of PVC profiles, pipes, and sheets. In concentrated color masterbatch and filled masterbatch, it acts as a dispersant for pigments and fillers, aiding in the uniform dispersion of colorants and enhancing the appearance of products.
In water-based coatings, inks, and road marking paints, OPE wax is widely used as an anti-friction, anti-scratch, and anti-blocking agent. It forms a protective layer on the surface of the coating, which is precisely the principle behind the improved wear resistance you noticed earlier.
