Are master cylinders universal?
The right choice of bike master cylinder can make all the difference in how your bike brakes. It is not a universal fit, because there are different styles and there are different psi levels for disc brakes versus drum brakes.
Can you use any master cylinder with disc brakes?

The bore diameter is what determines how much fluid volume the piston can push through when you apply the brakes.

It increases the stopping power and improves the reaction time of your brakes by using all four pistons in the caliper instead of just two.
