Runlube 8526, Polymer Sulphurised Vegetable Fatty Acid Esters, Fatty Acids and Hydrocarbons, RC2526
Application:
Runlube 8526 is a light-colored, high-performance sulphur carrier with low odor that is used to formulate metalworking oils and EP emulsions for heavy duty cutting and forming operations.
It can be used in a much wider range of applications than chlorinated paraffines and sulfur carriers with a similar sulfur content.
It is suitable for forming processes involving small relative movements (e.g. deep drawing operations) as well as for high-speed cutting processes such as deep hole drilling, milling and broaching.
In the presence of yellow metals the additional use of a suitable inhibitor such as Petrocor T561 is required.
Solubility: Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oilsused and the compatibility with other additives.
Storage:In accordance with local regulations, store in original container protectedfrom direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
