They are precision-engineered components designed to be used in conjunction with precision-machined flanges. All our Ring Joints are manufactured according to ASME B16.20 and API 6A. Ring Joint Gasket Type R ( Oval/ Octagonal ) R Style is available in both oval and octagonal configurations, the octagonal type is recommended in higher sealing efficiency, both types are interchangeable on modern octagonal type grooved flanges.
