Micronized polyethylene wax for plastic extrusion
As an important additive, micronized wax has an irreplaceable role in the field of ink coatings. It can significantly improve the surface properties of ink coatings, enhance scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, anti-adhesion, as well as improve the feel and control the gloss. In addition, the micronized wax can prevent pigment settling and cooperate with matte powder to produce matte paint.
There is a wide range of micronized waxes, mainly including Fischer-Tropsch waxes, polyethylene waxes, polypropylene waxes, polytetrafluoroethylene waxes and modified micronized waxes. Among them, Fischer-Tropsch wax is a kind of unbranched linear wax with low melting point and excellent smoothness and dispersibility; polyethylene wax has excellent anti-friction, anti-scratch, anti-adhesion and light retention; polypropylene wax has higher softening point and hardness, and has outstanding anti-adhesion and abrasion resistance; polytetrafluoroethylene wax has a high melting point, high density, and has excellent comprehensive performance, but is difficult to be dispersed and has a higher price; and modified micronized wax combines many advantages by modifying other waxes through a specific process. Modified micronized waxes combine the advantages of other waxes through a specific process.
