3-Phenyl-1-propanol
Chemical property
3-Phenyl-1-propanolis colorless and syrupy liquid, with a sweet floral aroma and sweet musky, and with fresh, pleasant, fruity and fragrant after dilution. The boiling point of 3-Phenyl-1-propanol is 236°C, and the flashing point of 3-Phenyl-1-propanol is 109°C. Soluble in ethanol, propylene glycol and most non-volatile oils, Insoluble in glycerin and mineral oil, very slightly soluble in water (1: 300).
Usage:
3-Phenyl-1-propanol is widely used in Flavors & essence oils, pharmaceutical ect.
It is mainly used to prepare nut flavors such as peach, apricot, plum, watermelon, plum, strawberry and walnut, and glutinous rice, also some other kinds of flavours and fragrances, and synthetic flavours and fragrances.As a medicine, it can be applied to Cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis, biliary postoperative syndrome, hypercholesterolemia, etc.
