For sports purposes, Clomid has not brought great benefits to women. However, in men, increased levels of follicle-stimulating hormones and (mainly) luteinizing hormones lead to increased production of natural testosterone.
When endogenous testosterone levels decrease, this effect is particularly beneficial for athletes at the end of the steroid cycle. If endogenous testosterone levels do not reach normal levels, significant size and strength losses may occur once the metabolites are removed.
This is because without testosterone (or other androgens), the catabolic hormone cortisol becomes the main force affecting muscle protein synthesis (rapid catabolism). Usually referred to as post-steroid breakdown, it can quickly engulf your newly acquired muscles.
Clomid can play a vital role in preventing the collapse of motor performance. As for women, Clomid's only real use is to control endogenous estrogen levels during competition time. This can increase fat loss and muscle development, especially in troubled areas such as buttocks and thighs. However, Clomid often has disturbing side effects in women (discussed below) and is not very needed in this group of athletes.
Clomid and HCG are occasionally used regularly during the steroid cycle to prevent the reduction of natural testosterone levels. However, in many cases, this may be difficult, especially when androgen is used for a long time.
