Brewery Wastewater Treatment Project In East Timor
This is the application of Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks for a brewery wastewater treatment project In East Timor.Heinekenbuild its ownwastewater treatment plantnearby their brewery. Heineken is well known for its signature green bottle and red star. One of the most pressing environmental issuesofHeinekenbrewery is the treatment and disposal of wastewater. When beer wastewater is dumped untreated into public waters, it can lead to the growth of plants, algae and bacteria, which can cause oxygen levels to drop and eventually lead to eutrophication, making the water unfit for most aquatic life.
There are two optionsfor the breweryto treattheir wastewater in order to avoid punitive measures, wastewaterdischarges tothe localmunicipal wastewater treatment plantor the brewery could install a treatment system for its process wastewater. The perfect solution is the brewerybuild up their own wastewater treatmentsystem, which will allow the breweryto reuse thetreated waterand save a lot of money. the result of this is a brewery that has avoided punitive actions from the local municipality, while choosing an environment-friendly option.
6 Glass-Fused-To-Steel tanksprovided by us are specially designed according to project local environmental conditions, such as snow load, wind speed, seismic zone etc., to make sure the tank structure's adequate security in long-term service life.Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks engineering design meet or exceed AWWA D103-09 and EN/ISO28765:2011
