What is a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor?

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Theory
Permanent magnet synchronous motor is mainly composed of rotor, end cover and stator. During the start-up process, when the stator winding is fed with three-phase symmetrical alternating current of frequency, the air gap magnetic field generated rotates at synchronous speed, and the alternating current of frequency is induced in the rotor starting squirrel cage winding.
