Lithium ion ups vs lead acid
SCU UPS system manufacturersupports lithium-ion batteries, it’s also a kind of ups with li ion battery. Compared with lead-acid battery, ups with li ion battery has below advantages. (1) Lithium iron phosphate battery ups take much less footprint than lead-acid battery. (2) Lithium battery is much more compact in power capacity, light weight. While lead-acid battery is heavier, requires more cost and time for maintenance. (3) Lithium uninterruptible power supply has higher temperature tolerance: 0℃～45℃ for charging, (4) -20℃～60℃ for discharging, -40℃ ~60℃ for storage. (5) More cycle times and service life: 3000 times, 10 years. (6) Environment friendly: not contain polluting metals such as cadmium, lead, mercury. (7) Lithium battery equipped with three level BMS design of module, cabinet and system, multiple state monitoring, hierarchical linkage, comprehensive guarantee of battery system safety.
Features of Lithium-Ion UPS Batteries
Although bms for lithium ion batteryis expensive than lead-acid battery, now it’s getting more and more popular after people getting to know better about lithium-ion battery UPS. Lithium-ion battery offers longer cycle life last 10 years, and high C rate for charging and discharging than lead-acid battery.
SCU high C rate Lithium battery, discharging could up to 6C, high energy lithium battery, capacity up to 280AH.
We use LFP cell for battery modules, modules in series connection form battery cluster. Each lithium ion ups system also equipped with BMS (battery management system).
Three level BMS design of module, cabinet and system, multiple state monitoring, hierarchical linkage, comprehensive guarantee of battery system safety.
