Ferro Niobium Uses
Ferroniobium is mainly used for smelting high temperature (heat resistant) alloys, stainless steel and high strength low alloy steel in refractory metals applications. In stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, niobium carbonates stably with carbon in the steel. It IS DISTRIBUTED UNIFORMLY ON THE GRAIN boundary OF STEEL, prevents the grain growth of steel at high temperature, plays a role in refining the structure of steel, and can improve the strength, toughness and creep properties of steel.
