LGJ-18 top press type freeze dryer
The freeze dryer consists of a refrigeration system, a vacuum system, a heating system, and an electrical instrument control system. The main components of the freeze dryer are a drying oven, a condenser, a refrigeration unit, a vacuum pump, a heating/cooling device, and the like. The freeze dryer works on the principle of freezing the dried object to below the triple point temperature, and then sublimating the solid water (ice) in the article to water vapor under vacuum conditions, and removing it from the article to make the article dry. After the material is pretreated, it is sent to the quick freezing warehouse for freezing, and then sent to the drying chamber for sublimation dehydration, and then packaged in the post-treatment workshop. The freeze dryer vacuum system establishes a low pressure condition for the sublimation drying chamber, the heating system provides sublimation latent heat to the material, and the refrigeration system provides the required cooling capacity to the cold trap and the drying chamber.
Advantages of freeze dryers:
1. Many heat sensitive substances will not be denatured or inactivated;
2. When drying at low temperature, some volatile components in the material are lost little;
3. During the freeze-drying process, the growth of microorganisms and the action of enzymes cannot be carried out, so that the original traits can be maintained;
4. Since the drying is carried out in a frozen state, the volume is almost constant, the original structure is maintained, and no concentration phenomenon occurs;
5. Since the moisture in the material exists in the form of ice crystals after pre-freezing, the inorganic salt-dissolved substances originally dissolved in the water are evenly distributed in the materials;
6. The material after drying in the freeze dryer is porous and spongy. After adding water, the solution dissolves quickly and completely, and the original trait is almost immediately restored;
7. Since drying is carried out under vacuum, there is very little oxygen, so the freeze dryer is protected against some easily oxidizable substances.
