3-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane Description
CFS-348, 3-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane is an epoxy silane coupling agent. It's mainly used as an adhesion promoter in various coatings and sealants. It is the counterpart of Momentive Silquest A-1871 and Dynasylan GLYEO.
3-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane Application
CFS-348 can be used as a crosslinker and an adhesion promoter in waterborne applications including acrylic and polyurethane coatings.
CFS-348 can be used as an adhesion promoter in coating and sealants industries. Wet adhesion, anti-corrosion and water-proof properties could be enhanced. Its epoxy functionality offers non-yellowing adhesion in various resin systems.
CFS-348 can be used to enhance adhesion and improve electricity properties of EMC (epoxy molding compound), electronic encapsulation and packaging materials.
CFS-348 can act as a surface modifier of inorganic materials such as fillers, glass fiber and metals. It can improve the bonding performance between organic resins and inorganic substrates. Suitable resins are epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, polysulfide and so on.
CFS-348 can be used to improve mechanical properties and electrical properties of various epoxy composites.

CFS-348 is offered in 25L PE pails, 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.

3-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane Storage
CFS-348 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-348 should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-348 has a shelf life of 12months.
