How Do Video Extenders Work?
Video Extenderconsists of a sender and a receiver. Convert HDMI/SDI/DVI/VGA signals to signals that can push the high bandwidth required for high quality video over longer distances. One of the easiest transmission methods is serial communication over a Cat5/6/7 Ethernet cable. You can also extend other signals such as IR/USB/RS-232.
