Aluminum stair tread is lighter than steel stair tread, while steel stair tread is stronger than aluminum stair tread.

For surface treatment, aluminum stair treads is usually adopting anodising or coating, while hot-dipped galvanising is generally adopted for steel stair treads. Steel stair treads is used more in industrial stairs than aluminum stair treads cause steel stair treads is stronger than aluminum stair treads.
