Manufacturing Process of ASTM A519 :
ASTM A519 carbon and alloy seamless steel tubing are produced either by cold-drawn or hot rolled, as specified.
Hot finished tubes need not be heat treated. Cold finished tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold-finishing at a temperature of 1200°F or higher.

Appearance for ASTM A519 :
A sufficient number of visual surface imperfections to provide seasonable assurance that they have been properly evaluated with respect to depth. The defect shall be removed or cut off within the limits of requirements on length. The finished pipe shall be seasonably straight.
