Straight Seam HF Welded Pipe Mill

DescriptionThe steel plates in certain width after slitting and stripping are unfolded and leveled and then sent into a forming machine. By using the roller, the steel pipe is processed into pipe state. The edge of the steel plate is melted by the proximity effect and skin effect of high frequency current. Then the plate is extruded and welded into pipes by using extruding roller. High frequency straight seam welded pipe mill is also called ERW (electric resistance welding) pipe mill.

Application1. High frequency straight seam welded pipe mill is suitable for all kinds of round pipe, square pipe and rectangular pipe.2. According to the product functions, welded pipe making machine is divided into API model and national standard model. API model mainly produces high level steel pipes such as delivery pipe of petroleum, natural gas and oil well casing. National standard model mainly produces the steel pipe, such as water-gas pipe and structure pipe.

Advantages1. In the preparation process, high frequency straight seam welded pipe mill mainly developed the volume type loop hoppers.2. In the aspect of forming unit, this welded pipe making machine developed double wire forming.3. The structure of forming unit developed part of the vertical roll group, the small row roller straight shape and vertical roll shape.4. In the operating line, high frequency straight seam welded pipe mill set up online continuous flow inspection and ultrasonic inspection.5. In the steel tube heat treatment technology, it developed online welded heat treatment, off-line frequency induction heat treatment and continuous bright annealing heat treatment.

Classification1. The forming styles of high frequency straight seam welded pipe mill can be divided into roll forming, cage forming, flexible forming (or F•F•X forming) and full auto flexible forming (F•F•X forming).2. The mill developed in our company adopts roll forming when having small diameter (Φ ≤ 114). The cage forming is adopted when having small DC thin wall (Φ ≤ 165, δ ≤ 6). Flexible forming is adopted when having middle diameter (Φ ≤ 340). Full auto flexible forming is adopted when having large diameter.3. According to the products functions, high frequency straight seam welded pipe making machines can be divided into API model and national standard model.
