It is designed to protect pumping systems from over pressure . When the system pressure is over the preset pressure, the valve will be open, and discharge the redundant medium to prevent the pressure going higher. When the system pressure is lower the preset pressure, the valve will be closed to ensure the system work normally. Safety valve can also be worked as back pressure valve, only change the inlet and outlet direction.
