1:Asphalt:theneedlepenetrationofasphaltisexpressedasthedepththatastandardneedleof100±0.05gverticallypenetratesintoasamplewithoutanymeasurablefrictionin5secondsintheconstanttemperaturebathof25℃±0.1℃.Theinstrumentistoevaluateconsistencyofasphalt.Thelargerthepenetrationis,thelesstheconsistencyisandthesoftertheasphaltis.
2:Lubricatinggrease:theconepenetrationoflubricatinggreaseorpetroleumgreaseisexpressedasthedepththatastandardconeof150gverticallypenetratesintoasamplewithoutanymeasurablefrictionin5secondsintheconstanttemperaturebathof25℃±0.1℃.Theinstrumentisusedtoevaluatethehardnessoflubricatinggreaseorpetroleumgrease.
3:DSHD-2801CPenetrometercanalsobeusedforsolidgranule,powder,colloidandothermaterialstest,aswellascream,glycine,butter,margarinecream,fermentation,andotherfoodinspection.DSHD-2801CPenetrometerhasbeenwidelyusedinfood,highwayconstructionandotherindustries.
