Double-station Taber abrasion tester
The Taber Abrasion Tester is used for wear and abrasion resistance testing. It measures a specimen's wear resistance and other wear properties, such as mass loss, thickness loss, and light transmittance change, by subjecting it to friction with a specified abrasive material under a constant load and velocity. The abrasion wheel is pre-ground using standard methods, ensuring highly consistent test results. The instrument's high repeatability of test data helps manufacturers effectively control production and inspect their products.
