石墨颗粒主要来源于石墨电极加工过程中产生的碎屑和石墨化学过程产生的废品，从而产生一些废石墨块。因为石墨片具有导电、导热、耐高温、灰分低、含碳量高、化学稳定性好等特点。石墨颗粒广泛用作炼钢炉中的渗碳剂、化学工业中的还原剂以及生产铝用碳块的重要原料之一。

石墨颗粒的应用

在其他方面，不同尺寸的石墨颗粒可以用作模具涂层、铅笔、电池、电极、防辐射材料等。

耐火材料：在冶金工业中，石墨颗粒用于制造坩埚，以冶炼有色金属、特殊钢和其他贵金属。此外，石墨颗粒还用作炼钢和铸锭的保温剂、保护渣和钢包覆盖剂。

导电材料：在电气工业中，石墨颗粒可以用作电极、电刷、电棒、碳管、显像管和真空管涂层。

耐磨材料和润滑剂：石墨颗粒可以用作机械工业中的耐磨和润滑材料。如果石墨能够在-200-2000℃的温度范围内以100M/s的速度滑动，则可以不使用润滑油。石墨润滑剂包括粉末、胶体石墨、石墨润滑脂、石墨压盖填料环等。

石墨颗粒的特性

石墨颗粒的化学成分是碳（c），它柔软而油腻。它具有比重小、耐高温、自润滑、导电性和导热性高、耐磨性强、稳定性强、抗热震性好、塑性好等特点。因此，石墨颗粒广泛应用于冶金、机械、石油、化工、轻工、国防等领域。
