Antimicrobial Gauze Swab
Antimicrobial Swab: Antimicrobial woven Gauze are impregnated with PHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide) and BKC (Benzalkonium chloride) which resists bacterial colonization within the dressing, a mixture antiseptic that has a broad spectrum effectiveness against gram+ and gram- microorganisms including some multi-drug resistant strains such as MRSA and VRE. It is intended for use as primary dressings for exuding wounds. In addition to its antimicrobial capabilities, it also provide, fast-wicking action, superior aeration, and excellent absorbency.
