Glucose Tube
Golden VacTM glucose tube is used for blood glucose, glucose tolerance, red blood cell electrophoresis, sugar hemoglobin, etc. The Glucose Tube is Plasma Blood Collection Tube.
Description of Glucose Blood Tube

Obtain highly stable plasma for blood glucose testing.

Sodium Fluoride is an inhibitor of glucose degradation.

Potassium Oxalate, EDTA Na2, and Heparin Sodium prevent blood coagulation and avoid blood hemolysis.

Immediately after draw, gently invert the glucose blood tube 8-10 times in order to activate adequate anticoagulant.

Centrifugation: ≤ 1300 g (RCF) for 10 minutes at 18-25° C.
How Do You Collect a Glucose Sample?
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry well.
Use the lancet device that came with your kit to prick the side of a fingertip.
Touch the edge of a test strip to the drop of blood that arises after the finger prick.
Place the strip in the meter.
Track and record your results.
Dispose of the lancet and the meter.
