Test Procedures
(1) Prepare the instrument and press the power/selection button to turn on the device.
(2) Press the power/selection button to select the desired measurement mode: visible light transmission, three-light cycle, ultraviolet light transmission, or infrared light transmission. The instrument retains the last used mode after shutdown.
(3) Confirm calibration before measurement. Recalibrate if previous calibration is in doubt; calibration results are automatically stored.
(4) Position the instrument over the sample; the measurement value will be displayed. Avoid operating under strong ambient light.
(5) After measurement, press the power button until “OFF” appears to shut down the device.
Maintenance
(1) Keep the instrument clean; wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
(2) Regularly check the LED light source for consistent illumination and replace if necessary.
(3) Store in a dry environment, avoiding direct sunlight and high humidity.
(4) Ensure proper calibration before extended use.
(5) Avoid exposure to corrosive substances or strong mechanical shock.
