Hard alloy titanium carbide round rods can be customized into products with different properties by adjusting the titanium carbide content (usually 70%-90%) and the proportion of binder. When the titanium carbide content is relatively high, it has stronger wear resistance and is suitable for rough processing scenarios. An increase in the proportion of the binder enhances the toughness and makes it more suitable for fine processing. Its density is only 6.5g/cm³, which is 20% lighter than tungsten carbide rods of the same size, making it suitable for making lightweight tools. In the 3C electronics industry, it is often used to process precision parts such as mobile frames and laptop shells, ensuring that the product surface is free of scratches and has small dimensional errors. The length of this round bar can be customized according to requirements, ranging from 100mm to 1000mm, and it can undergo secondary processing such as precision grinding and wire cutting to produce parts of various complex shapes. Although its price is higher than that of ordinary cemented carbide, after considering its service life and processing efficiency comprehensively, the cost per unit product is actually lower. In the gear processing industry, the hobs made from it can ensure that the gear tooth surface accuracy reaches grade 6 or above, meeting the demands of high-end mechanical transmission.
