Titanium carbide rods - suitable for hardware molds
Compared with traditional high-speed steel, hard alloy titanium carbide round bars enable a 3 to 5 times increase in cutting speed, significantly reducing processing time in mass production. These bars exhibit a uniform microstructure with grain size controlled below 1 μm, ensuring consistent mechanical performance throughout the material and minimizing the risk of tool failure due to material inhomogeneity. In the mold industry, cold stamping die inserts fabricated from this material demonstrate service lives 50 to 100 times longer than those made of conventional steel, substantially reducing replacement frequency and associated production costs. The oxidation resistance of hard alloy titanium carbide rods can withstand temperatures up to 800 °C, making them less susceptible to oxidative wear in high-temperature cutting environments and highly suitable for machining difficult-to-process materials such as high-temperature alloys. When subjected to mirror surface finishing, the material achieves a coefficient of friction as low as 0.1, effectively reducing frictional resistance during workpiece interaction and lowering energy consumption. In textile machinery, it is widely employed in the manufacture of wear-resistant guide rods, preventing yarn damage during high-speed operation and contributing to improved textile quality.
