High-hardness titanium carbide hard guide wheel

Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels serve as critical guiding components in the manufacturing of wire and tubular materials. Fabricated via powder metallurgy sintering using high-purity titanium carbide and cobalt binder phases, these guide wheels exhibit a surface hardness of up to HRC88 and wear resistance exceeding 50 times that of conventional steel counterparts. Their roundness deviation is maintained within 0.002 mm, ensuring stable wire movement during high-speed drawing processes (up to 100 m/s) and preventing vibration or misalignment. In stainless steel wire production, the application of these guide wheels reduces wire surface roughness from Ra1.6 μm to Ra0.4 μm, significantly enhancing product quality. The dynamic balance accuracy achieves Grade G0.4, resulting in a vibration amplitude of less than 0.01 mm at high rotational speeds, thereby minimizing equipment noise and improving the workshop working environment. These guide wheels also demonstrate excellent chemical stability, showing no reactivity with metallic wires, which prevents surface contamination or discoloration. In precious metal wire manufacturing (e.g., gold and silver wires), the inert and clean surface of the guide wheel helps prevent material loss and lowers production costs.
