Characteristic:
Inconel woven screen features extremely strong resistance to corrosion from reducing, oxidizing and nitriding media; good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room and high temperatures; good resistance to dry chlorine and gas corrosion. Due to controlled carbon content and grain size, it has excellent creep rupture strength, especially suitable for working environments above 700°C.
Application:
Inconel woven screen is used for thermocouple sleeves in corrosive atmospheres; chlorine olefin monomer production (resistant to chlorine, chlorine-hydrogen, oxidation and carburization corrosion); uranium oxidation conversion to hexafluoride (resistant to fluorine-hydrogen corrosion); production and use of corrosive alkali metals (especially in sulfide environments); chlorine-X method for titanium dioxide; production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides (resistant to chlorine and fluorine corrosion); nuclear reactors; curved bottles and components in heat treatment furnaces (especially in carburizing and nitriding atmospheres); catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production.
