General-purpose cutting tool titanium carbide hard alloy round bar
The production process of this round bar is highly rigorous, encompassing strict control of titanium carbide powder purity (≥99.5%) and precise regulation of sintering temperature (approximately 1500℃), with each step directly influencing the final performance. The finished product exhibits excellent dimensional stability. Within a temperature range of -50℃ to 300℃, its thermal expansion coefficient is only 6×10⁻⁶/℃, significantly lower than that of metallic materials. This characteristic ensures the dimensional accuracy of precision tools across various environmental conditions. It is widely employed as wear-resistant inserts in automotive molds, capable of enduring prolonged high-pressure friction with minimal wear, thereby extending mold service life. Hard alloy titanium carbide round bars can be customized to achieve different performance attributes by adjusting the titanium carbide content (typically between 70% and 90%) and the proportion of binder material. Higher titanium carbide content enhances wear resistance, making it suitable for rough machining applications. Conversely, increasing the binder proportion improves toughness, rendering it more appropriate for fine machining processes. With a density of only 6.5g/cm³, it is 20% lighter than tungsten carbide rods of the same dimensions, making it ideal for the manufacture of lightweight tools. In the 3C electronics industry, it is commonly used for machining precision components such as mobile frames and laptop casings, ensuring scratch-free surfaces and minimal dimensional tolerances.
