SodiumAluminateis aninorganicchemical that is used as an effective source ofaluminium hydroxidefor many industrial and technical applications. Uses
In water treatment it is used as an adjunct to water softening systems, as a coagulant aid to improveflocculation, and for removing dissolvedsilicaandphosphates.
In construction technology, SodiumAluminateis employed to accelerate the solidification ofconcrete, mainly when working during frost.
SodiumAluminateis also used in thepaper industry, forfire brickproduction, alumina production and so forth.
