Terminal Equipment ONU for GEPON system/FTTx
In general, devices equipped with optical receivers, uplink transmitters, and multiple bridge amplifier networks are called optical nodes. PON uses a single fiber to connect to OLT, and then OLT is connected to ONU. ONU provides data, IPTV (interactive network TV), voice (using IAD, namely Integrated Access Device integrated access device) and other businesses, so as to truly achieve "triple-play" application.
