Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, with more than 100 employees nowadays, Formosan United Corporation (FUCO) was established in 1973 by two founders, Harry Fan and Ernest Sun. Since then, the FUCO name has been well known by achieving a good growth impetus in the do-it-yourself sector, OEM/ODM sector, and during 90's, in the battery sector. The success factors range from the large diversity of products being offered and developed, world-class packaging concepts, good presentations through sales promotions, polished communication, good logistics, innovations, and a pioneering implementation of a global sales network. The high degree of recognition of the FUCO name is in harmony with the highly qualified know-how. FUCO consists of two main business divisions; the do-it-yourself (DIY) and battery divisions.
