DC power supply SPD, also called DC lightning arrestor or DC surge suppressor, is designed for the protection of DC power circuit from the damage of lightning overvoltage, induce over-voltage, transient operation, and resonance (Less than 100μs) overvoltage. Besides low voltage 12v, 24v DC surge protection devices, high voltage 600v, 1000v solar DC surge suppressors are also available.
