Hot Repairing Mix Gunning Mix Ramming Mix Converter refractory BOF refractories

SG-RB/RX series of hot repair mix is suited for using at trunnion area, taphole area and large working surface in converter. Taking high purity magnesia as main raw material, added and treated with unique organic bond, this mix enjoys some advantages like high adhesive strength, low smoke good flowability under high temperature condition and superior resistance to erosion/corrosion. It’s one of the best refractory materials for repairing the working lining of the converter. Upon getting thrown on the lining, SG-RB/RX mix will get softened quickly and spread over the worn out area and settle. With sintered layer on working surface fill up the gap and protect further erosion of the bricks, the service life of the converter hence can be extended. SG-ZL series of gunning mix is developed keeping in view the installation features of gunning materials and the steel making techniques of a converter. Superior magnesite and MgO-Cal based compounds are the main raw materials, treated with unique binders and other additives. SG-ZL series of gunning mix offers high adhesive strength, low rebound rate, good sinterability, and superior resistance to erosion/corrosion. They are optimal products for both cold and hot repair maintenance of converter lining.
