Double Beam Gantry Crane is a kind of track traveling mid-heavy type crane, compose of bridge beam, electric trolley, traveling mechanism and electric system, suitable for where overhead runways are not practical, or in open areas where columns cannot be accommodated.
Double Beam Gantry Crane is widely used to do loading and unloading work outdoor, such as open warehouse, material stocks area, cement plant, granite industry, construction industry, and engineering industry and so on, generally equip with lifting hook, also can equipped with other lifting device for special work, like grab bucket, electromagnetic chuck, container spreader, etc.
Gantry cranes can be operated from the ground via cable-connected control pendant, radio remote control or from an operator cabin, and multiple controls are possible by switching control from one mode to another.
