The luffing tower crane is a tower crane with a lifting jib that can turn from side to side or move up and down. Part of its outstanding features are as follows:
It is very useful for a site that has tall buildings or other obstacles around where a tower crane with a long horizontal jib can not work.
By moving the jib up and down, the luffing tower crane can change its working radius freely and lift the objects to a higher position than an ordinary tower crane.
Compared with a tower crane with a horizontal jib of the same length, the luffing tower crane can lift up heavier objects and therefore can work with a higher efficiency.
