What is a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor?
Permanent magnet synchronous motor is actually a kind of AC motor, its stator operation is three phase difference AC, and the rotor is permanent magnet. But the greatest advantage of this motor is that AC energy is provided by DC, which can accurately control the motor and solve the life problem caused by brushes.
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Theory
Permanent magnet synchronous motor is mainly composed of rotor, end cover and stator. The stator structure of permanent magnet synchronous motor is very similar to that of ordinary induction motor, The biggest difference between rotor structure and asynchronous motor is that high-quality permanent magnet poles are placed on the rotor. According to the different positions of permanent magnets placed on the rotor, permanent magnet synchronous motor is usually divided into surface rotor structure and built-in rotor structure.
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Control
The asynchronous start-up process of permanent magnet synchronous motor can be regarded as steady-state asynchronous operation at different speeds. During the start-up process, when the stator winding is fed with three-phase symmetrical alternating current of frequency, the air gap magnetic field generated rotates at synchronous speed, and the alternating current of frequency is induced in the rotor starting squirrel cage winding.

The outer rotor structure of permanent magnet ac synchronous motor has no reducer mechanism inside, the permanent magnet synchronous electric roller shaft is stationary and the outer rotor rotates when working;
The outer rotor permanent magnet is embedded and installed, which effectively protects the permanent magnet, has no risk of falling off, and has high reliability;
The low-speed coupling is omitted, and the transmission efficiency is higher;
The permanent magnet ac synchronous motor is a ceramic encapsulation with good wear resistance.
