Since cable and preformed rods are in the space of high-strength electric field, the terminal endof preformed armor rodsare easily affected by corona discharge which can threat cable's safe operation. Corona proof ring cangreatlyimprove the status of the electric field and decrease the corona electric erosion to the cable and extend cable's life.
