Silt curtains are floating barriers used in marine construction, dredging, and remediation projects to control the silt and sediment in a body of water. Silt curtains can be set up to keep construction areas in compliance and protect the environment. JXY Curtains are made from a high strength woven geotextile and are fabricated to any size that will fit your specific application.JXY Silt Curtain can support customization. Please tell us your project conditions. Type 3 Silt Curtain Should be used in areas where considerable current (up to 3 knots or 5 feet per second) may be present, where tidal action may be present, and/or where the curtain is potentially subject to wind and wave action. Floating Silt Barriers are used to control and contain silt and sediment within an
immediate work area thereby preventing anything from floating outside of the dredging area and affecting marine life. Floating Silt Barriers protect our waters and environment.

Floating Turbidity Barriers are available in 50 & 100 foot sections or any custom length up to 100’.the skirt can be as deep as required by project requirements.A permeable skirt is important if there is the need to allow water to flow through while containing silt or turbidity.NOTE: Float size is determined by skirt depth and or your job requirements.
