The Porton-man Thermal Manikin is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

Test Procedures

(1) Mount the Porton-man on the drive frame in the testing area.

(2) Configure motion parameters (walking, running, sitting, kneeling, stair climbing, arm movements).

(3) Connect the data acquisition system to monitor sensors.

(4) Start the test sequence via the control software.

(5) Perform the desired motion tasks while the manikin collects thermal, pressure, and barrier data.

(6) Analyze recorded data in real-time or post-test for performance evaluation.

(7) Repeat as necessary for different clothing sets or test conditions.
