Test Procedures
Sample Preparation: Cut the sample to the specified dimensions (e.g., 300 mm long × 50 mm wide), and process it under specified environmental conditions, such as drying to constant weight.
Sample Installation: Suspend the sample between two flame nozzles using support rods, with the nozzles perpendicular to the sample surface. Simultaneously, suspend a specified load from the lower end of the sample.
Ignition and Temperature Measurement: Ignite the burner, using liquefied petroleum gas as the heat source. Measure the temperature using a thermocouple at a specified distance from the sample surface (e.g., 5 mm).
Temperature Control: Adjust the temperature to (800 ± 30)℃ within 3 minutes, and maintain this temperature throughout the test.
Observation and Recording: Start timing from the moment the sample is exposed to the flame until it breaks or fails. Record the time it takes for each sample to burn through, using the minimum time among five samples as the fire resistance stability of that group of samples.
