Hydraulic Needle Valve
A hydraulic cartridge needle valveis a compact and self-contained valve that incorporates a needle valve design within a cartridge-style housing. It is designed to be installed in hydraulic manifold systems or other china hydraulic valvebodies. Similar to a traditional hydraulic needle valve, a needle cartridge valve is used to control and regulate the flow rate of hydraulic fluid. It consists of a needle-like plunger or spool that can be adjusted to vary the size of the orifice opening, thereby controlling the flow of fluid.
Why Is It Called Needle Valve?
A hydraulic needle flow control valveis called a "needle valve" due to its distinct design that resembles a needle. The name "needle valve" refers to the long, slender shape of the valve stem, which resembles the pointed end of a sewing needle. The valve stem has a fine-threaded screw mechanism, allowing for precise control over the flow rate of hydraulic fluid.
Similar to how a sewing needle is used to make small and precise stitches, a needle valve in a hydraulic system is designed to provide fine control over the flow of fluid. By rotating the valve stem, the needle-like point either obstructs or allows the passage of fluid through a narrow orifice, enabling precise adjustment of the flow rate.
