Rubber Resilience Tester
Introduction:
A Rubber Resilience Tester is a specialized instrument used to measure the resilience (or rebound elasticity) of rubber and rubber-like materials. This test quantifies how well a rubber sample recovers its original shape after being deformed by an impact.
The tester typically works by dropping a weight or pendulum from a specific height onto a rubber specimen. The height of the rebound is then measured, providing a direct indication of the material's resilience. This measurement is crucial for applications where rubber needs to absorb and return energy efficiently, such as in tires, shock absorbers, and various industrial components. It helps manufacturers ensure that their rubber products meet performance and safety standards.
