Product Introduction:

The tester typically utilizes a universal testing machine frame or a dedicated test stand equipped with a precision load cell to measure applied forces. These fixtures allow precise application of force to specific parts of the zipper assembly, such as:

Slider Pull Strength: Measuring the force required to pull the slider off the chain or damage the slider body.

Top Stop Holding Strength: Measuring the force required to pull the slider through the top stops.

Bottom Stop Holding Strength: Measuring the force required to pull the zipper chain apart at the bottom stop.

The tester applies force at a controlled rate until the zipper component fails (breaks, pulls off, or deforms beyond specification). Automated versions can control the test speed, detect failure automatically (e.g., by a sudden drop in force), record force-displacement data, and generate test reports.
