Wear-resistant titanium carbide rods extend service life

The length of this round bar can be customized according to requirements, ranging from 100mm to 1000mm, and it can undergo secondary processing such as precision grinding and wire cutting to produce parts of various complex shapes. Although its price is higher than that of ordinary cemented carbide, after considering its service life and processing efficiency comprehensively, the cost per unit product is actually lower. In the gear processing industry, the hobs made from it can ensure that the gear tooth surface accuracy reaches grade 6 or above, meeting the demands of high-end mechanical transmission. The anti-adhesion performance of titanium carbide round rods made of hard alloy is outstanding. When processing sticky materials such as aluminum alloy and copper alloy, the phenomenon of "tool sticking" is less likely to occur, ensuring a smooth processing surface. Its surface can be further enhanced in terms of wear resistance and oxidation resistance through coating treatment (such as TiAlN coating), increasing the tool life by more than 50%. In the field of medical devices, it is often used to make orthopedic surgical instruments, which not only ensure sharpness but also can withstand high-temperature disinfection without deformation.
