The manufacturing process of this round bar is highly stringent, with rigorous control over the purity of titanium carbide powder (purity ≥99.5%) and precise regulation of sintering temperature (approximately 1500 °C), both of which are critical to determining the final product performance. The finished material exhibits excellent dimensional stability; its coefficient of thermal expansion is only 6×10⁻⁶/°C across temperature variations from -50 °C to 300 °C—significantly lower than that of conventional metallic materials—ensuring dimensional accuracy of precision tools under diverse operating conditions. It is widely employed as wear-resistant inserts in automotive molds, where it withstands prolonged high-pressure friction with minimal wear, thereby extending mold service life. Titanium carbide round bars made from cemented carbide exhibit oxidation resistance up to 800 °C, making them resistant to oxidative degradation in high-temperature cutting environments and well-suited for machining difficult-to-process materials such as high-temperature alloys. Following mirror surface finishing, the material achieves a coefficient of friction as low as 0.1, effectively reducing frictional resistance against workpieces and lowering energy consumption during processing. In textile machinery, it is commonly used to fabricate wear-resistant guide rods, ensuring yarn integrity during high-speed operation and contributing to improved textile quality.
