The powder has a high hardness, with a microhardness of up to 2200HV. The bonding strength between the coating and the substrate is high, reaching over 50MPa, and it is not easy to peel off, ensuring long-term usage effect. In mining machinery, parts treated with chromium carbide coating can withstand the severe impact and friction of ores, and their service life is increased by 4 to 6 times. Chromium carbide powder has excellent wettability and adheres firmly to metal substrates such as iron, nickel and cobalt, making the coating less prone to cracking
