Hardmetal titanium carbide round bars can be customized to produce products with different properties by adjusting the titanium carbide content (typically 70%-90%) and binder ratio. When the titanium carbide content is higher, the product has stronger wear resistance and is suitable for rough machining applications; increasing the binder ratio improves toughness, making it more suitable for precision machining. Its density is only 6.5 g/cm³, making it 20% lighter than tungsten carbide rods of the same size, making it ideal for lightweight tools. In the 3C electronics industry, it is commonly used to process precision parts such as smart frames and laptop casings, ensuring a scratch-free surface and minimal dimensional errors.
